| | Surma - I was typing my post at lunchtime, and while I was typing it you must have posted it, so i did not see it. But to answer your question, I find most bands myself, I get some recommendations from friends, but I mostly search the web for new bands when I want them. I don't even bother going to CD stores for albums, cuz they never have what I want, I order most of my stuff online from the label the band is under that I'm interested in, or my friend gets them for me.
Alfader - You have no idea what my taste includes, I only listed 5 bands O_o. I listen to well over 200 bands, covering all genres of metal. And before you ask, I can't be arsed to type out every single band I listen to.
And my attitude is just defending the bands you (or other members) bashed. No one should just let someone bash their band and do nothing about it. Plus if my attitude was wigger-ish, I'd talk about how I'll kill you, or send my 'gang' after you, and oh yeah, have the worst grammer you've ever seen. |

If you are a metalhead, you should know about the subgenres of metal. So, tell me which subgenres you're into, and maybe a few bands of each subgenre. |

I was just saying that when you're mentionning metal bands and when you're talking about metal bands it's clear that you know what you're talking about. I don't think you would have given electronic or noise bands as favorite metal bands... unlike Shinobi who mentioned only nu-metal and industrial stuffs. \m/_

| | Not black metal like Cradle of Filth or Dimmu Borgir? Brutal death metal is generally boring and generic. Few bands impress me now. What kind of doom metal. Examples? Glam metal? Most of it is gay with some exceptions!
And more to the point you still listen poser bands as your top bands. But yes if you don't want us to make such judgements then list proper metal bands. |
