Well. I saw them yesterday. And they were INCREDIBLE! Truly amazing. Although they played only nine songs... Mikael's speeches have truly got better. I laughed my ass out, really.

When somebody asked for Master's apprentices they jammed it for a second, Mike first then all together...then they stopped because that was not part of the set. And Mike did not have his blue guitar.
Then there was singing and headbanging contests.

There was even a drum solo...

...Metal gods...

I've seen this band live three times and going to see them again in November. They are one of the best bands I've heard live.

I've been hearing alot of this band latly and I have to say that thier not that bad. Deliverance wasn't a bad song.

Well I haven't seen them live either, but they are coming to Australia soon, so yeah. My friend got his ticket already (he got it on the day that they started selling them). So he's going. He's been a huge Opeth fan since, well forever pretty much! So you can see why he really wants to go. So I'll be able to tell you what he thought of it.

If the "Lamentations" DVD is anything to go by they are fuckin awesome, if I ever get the chance to see them I will be there with bells on

No, unfortunatly, but my biggest dream is to se them live. I mean this is my favorite band, and IMO they play the best music in metal right now(and not just in metal), so defenetly, I want to see them live.

Awesome. Yeah didn't you have some live avatar thing of Opeth, did you do that yourself? Well, it was your avatar until your image host knocked it off! Where abouts are they playing apart from Australia? I think they're coming to Melbourne on the 27th or so my friend says.
