I heard the first single that preceeded the album release, and it didn't blow me away. I think the last album started to make people question if they still liked Slipknot. I didn't mind the last album, but i thought that Iowa was better. Lets be honest yes i like Slipknots masks and the energy that they put into their music. They aren't doing anything that hasn't been done before.
Music is art in the eye of the beholder. If you don't like a band then fair enough, but to destroy threads spreading your hate is pointless.

I, for one, like slipknot though the new album was not what i expected it to be. Slipknot are performers, its what they do, have you seen their "Disasterpieces" concert? i wish i had gone. I love their music too. How can you say it is talentless? The fact that they call us Maggots and are still worshipped by thousands of people should tell you something. They are artists in there own right and the masks are the image they want to portray. If you don't like em then shut the fuck up and stop posting in this thread.

I do agree that some of the people that listen to them are.. well... FREAKS. They are shitting themselves everytime they go on stage and preform because they don't know what's going to happen. But slipknot are decent fucking people. I mean the guitarist teaches school children to play guitar in his spare time.
